  • Plugin won’t activate → Check PHP version (7.4+ required) and missing extensions
  • Setup wizard errors → Verify openssl and gd/imagick extensions are enabled
  • Database errors → Ensure MySQL 5.7+ and CREATE TABLE permissions
  • Signers not receiving emails → Check SMTP configuration or install a mail plugin (WP Mail SMTP, FluentSMTP)
  • Emails going to spam → Configure SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records for your domain
  • PDF not loading → Check server memory limit (256MB+ recommended)
  • Signature not saving → Verify JavaScript errors in the browser console
  • Mobile display issues → Clear browser cache and ensure responsive mode is active
  • Vietnamese or accented names missing on the signed PDF → WPsigner → Languages → Signed PDF fonts → install Accented Latin
  • Signer asked to log in to WordPress → that row has Require WordPress login on; they must use the matching account email
