First Document on WPsigner Lite

This one-page guide is for WPsigner Lite (free on WordPress.org). You will send a PDF for signature with at most two signers.

Time: about 5 minutes · Edition: Lite · Lite vs Pro · Install Lite

  1. Install and activate WPsigner Lite.
  2. Have a PDF ready (contract, NDA, waiver, etc.).
  3. Know the signer name(s) and email address(es).

  1. Log in to WordPress admin.
  2. Click WPsigner in the sidebar.
  3. Click New Document (or +).

You should see the 4-step wizard: Upload → Signers → Fields → Review.

  1. Drag your PDF into the upload area, or click to browse.
  2. Wait until the preview loads.
  3. Click Next.

If the upload rejects the file, convert it to PDF. Lite does not accept PNG/JPG.

  1. Enter Name and Email for the first signer.
  2. Optionally click Add Signer for a second person (Lite maximum is 2).
  3. Choose Parallel (everyone at once) or Sequential (one after another).
  4. Click Next.

  1. Select a signer (color helps identify ownership).
  2. Drag Signature (and optionally Initials, Date, Text) onto the page.
  3. Resize and position fields where people must sign.
  4. Click Next.

Tip: put at least one Signature field per signer or they cannot finish.

  1. Check title, signers, and field placement.
  2. Optionally set an expiration date or require an access code / email OTP (Lite supports email OTP).
  3. Click Send.

Each signer gets an email with a unique signing link. They can draw, type, or upload a signature on the public signing page.

  1. Open WPsigner → Documents.
  2. When status is Completed, open the document.
  3. Download the signed PDF and review the audit trail.

Lite stores a local completion timestamp on your server (not an external TSA).
