## The WPsigner App Does Not Appear

| What you see | What to check |
|--------------|----------------|
| No WPsigner app in the builder | FlowMattic, WPsigner, and this addon are all active |
| Admin warning about `flowmattic-apps` | `wp-content` must be writable so the addon can create `wp-content/flowmattic-apps/wpsigner/` |
| App missing after a FlowMattic update | Open **FlowMattic → Workflows** again. FlowMattic does not publish a stable third-party SDK, so a future FlowMattic release may need an addon update |

## A Trigger Does Not Run

| What you see | What to check |
|--------------|----------------|
| Nothing happens | The workflow is **On**. Off workflows do not run |
| Capture stays empty | Turn the workflow On, then run the WPsigner event. Capture while Off may not record |
| Template filter never matches | The document must have been created from that template while this addon was active. Use **Any template** to confirm the trigger itself works |
| Form trigger is silent | **Document created** can still run. **Document created from a form or order** is the one that includes `SOURCE` |
| Two workflows fire on one signature | In-form signing also fires **Document signed**. Use the form trigger when you need the form ID |

Workflows saved before the addon was installed are picked up the next time an administrator loads a screen that scans FlowMattic tables.

## An Action Fails

| Message | Meaning |
|---------|---------|
| Document not found | `DOCUMENT_ID` is empty or points at a deleted document |
| This document can no longer accept signers | The document is completed, declined, expired, cancelled, or in the trash |
| A signer who already signed, approved, or declined cannot be removed | Remove only an open signer |
| Invitations can only be resent while the document is sent or viewed | The document is still a draft, or it is already closed |
| Please wait a few seconds before sending again | The send, remind, or resend rate limit |
| Hourly document-creation limit reached | Wait, or raise **Max documents created per hour** in [Settings](/addons/flowmattic-settings/) |
| Could not attach the tag | The document already has five tags |

## Fields Are Empty

| Field | Why it can be empty |
|-------|---------------------|
| `SIGNING_URL` | Turned off in [Settings](/addons/flowmattic-settings/), or the person already signed or declined |
| `TEMPLATE_ID` | The document was not created from a template after the addon was active |
| `SOURCE_FORM_TITLE` | That hook does not include a title. `SOURCE` and `SOURCE_FORM_ID` may still be set |
| `FIELD_*` | Field values are turned off, or the template variable has no value |
| Signer arrays | The document has no signers left. **Signer removed** still includes the removed person in `SIGNER_*` |
