# FlowMattic — Installation & Setup

Install this addon on the **same WordPress site** that already runs FlowMattic and WPsigner. There is no FlowMattic cloud app key and no webhook to WPsigner Cloud.

> **Requires WPsigner Pro for templates**
Create-from-template actions need **WPsigner templates**, which are a Pro feature. Triggers on documents you already send still run when WPsigner is active.

## Install

1. Log in to the [Account Portal → Addons](https://app.wpsigner.com/account/?portal_tab=addons).
2. Download **WPsigner for FlowMattic**. Portal links expire in about one hour.
3. In WordPress: **Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin** → install the ZIP → **Activate**.
4. Confirm **FlowMattic** and **WPsigner** are also active.

The plugin folder inside the ZIP is `insigner-flowmattic/`.

## After Activation

The addon:

- Registers the **WPsigner** app in the FlowMattic workflow builder
- Writes a loader in `wp-content/flowmattic-apps/wpsigner/` so FlowMattic can discover the app
- Remembers which template created a document, so later triggers can filter by template
- Adds a card on **WPsigner → Addons**
- Adds **FlowMattic → WPsigner** for privacy settings

If FlowMattic or WPsigner is missing, administrators see an error notice. The app does not appear in the builder until **both** dependencies and this addon are active.

If WordPress cannot write `wp-content/flowmattic-apps/wpsigner`, an admin warning explains that FlowMattic may not list WPsigner until that folder is writable.

## First Workflow

1. Open **FlowMattic → Workflows** and create a workflow.
2. Choose the app **WPsigner** and the trigger **Document completed**. Leave the template on **Any template**.
3. Add an action — for a smoke test, email yourself and map `DOCUMENT_TITLE`.
4. Turn the workflow **On**.

Then complete a test document in WPsigner. The workflow should run. A workflow left **Off** does not run, and capture while it is Off may not record a sample.

## Settings After Install

Open **FlowMattic → WPsigner** and decide whether signing URLs belong in workflow data. Default is on. Details: [Settings](/addons/flowmattic-settings/).
